Sunny And Pleasant for Our WeekendFebruary 22nd, 2014 at 9:10 am by Jeff Edmondson WAVY under Weather
The weather pattern will remain quiet today and tomorrow after we had the big storms move through yesterday. For today we are going to start our morning with filtered sunshine.
An area of high pressure is developing over us today which will help to clear out most of these clouds in to our afternoon. Thanks to the sunshine and the light winds high temperatures will be comfortable this afternoon.
Most of us will see highs near 60 degrees today. Tomorrow will be more of the same with partly cloudy skies. Temperatures should be a little warmer tomorrow thanks to a southwest breeze. Highs will be near 67 tomorrow.
Another arctic airmass will move to the south again to drop our temperatures back to the 40s starting on Tuesday. As of now Tuesday looks to be dry, but on Wednesday there is a chance for a mixed precip event. The computer models are still all over the place with what exactly we will see, but for areas in central Virginia and Maryland snow is looking possible from this developing storm. We will continue to track that over the next several days.
Enjoy your Weekend!
