Dorian is Back!August 3rd, 2013 at 9:24 am by Jeff Edmondson WAVY under Weather
A quick update from the National Hurricane Center; Dorian has been renamed. Right now the disturbance is sitting off the coast of Florida.
The cold front that is moving across out area tonight will keep this storm away from our coast. This storm is heading out to sea over the next 48 hours. It is also not expected to get any stronger.
Elsewhere in the tropics everything is quiet.
The cold front that moving in tonight may help to spark a few showers this afternoon.
After 3pm is the best timing to see these stray showers develop. We will likely see some of this rainfall survive tonight and dissipate tomorrow. Highs will be near 84 tomorrow with a strong northwest wind.
Enjoy your weekend!
