LMF: The Aragona ProjectJune 28th, 2013 at 1:57 pm by Kyle Bloom under THRS Live Music
We are finally heading into the weekend and this weekend in particular is my favorite because it’s the start of my birthday weekend. Woo Hoo! Even though I’m turning 35 Monday, I still get excited about my birthday and there is no better way to kick off my weekend than by welcoming back The Aragona Project to the stage. For those who don’t know, Aragona was the first band I booked for Live Music Friday and they will always have a special meaning to me. Last time they were on the show back in November 2011, they debuted their hit In The Dark and today they debuted two new songs Silhouette Sail Away and one that doesn’t even have a title yet. We had some fun after the show as they played in the Chroma Key (the green screen), I posted some video of it on my Instagram so look up kcbloom if you want to check it out. They will be performing tomorrow night at Belmont House Of Smoke with Nonviolent Crimes and Two Bars From The Gun. The show is 21 + and starts at 9p with a $5 cover. If you missed their performance from the show today, you can check it out in its entirety right here.
If your in the mood to rock out rebel style tonight then head on over to Redbones Raw Bar in Great Bridge for The Pawn Shop Lifters! Jeff, Wendell and Alan always put on a punch-in-gut show and you shouldn’t miss this one because it will cost you $0.00 to get in.
That’s about it for me today. Make sure you check back here Monday as I announce the acts that will be performing at this year’s Localpalooza. Have a great weekend and get out and SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL MUSIC
