Spring Flurries TodayMarch 21st, 2013 at 9:31 am by Jeff Edmondson WAVY under Weather
A few of us, especially for the Peninsula and North might see some snow around midday today.
There is a weak storm system about 400 miles offshore which is helping to provide the lift in the atmosphere for this storm system. If we had more moisture, we could have had a decent snow event, but the dry NW wind will keep us dry. Most of us will see flurries this afternoon as the whole system moves offshore.
It looks like the wind is going to keep up for the rest of the day today and tomorrow. Tonight we will see clearing skies and cold temperatures. Lows tonight should be near 27 degrees. Tomorrow we will see the sunshine from morning to night. Highs should be near 48 tomorrow with a West wind at 10-20mph.
Dress Warm today, temperatures are going to be stuck near 40 all day.
