Windy, Cool, and Sunny
We are seeing breezy conditions today with plenty of sunshine.
We should see wind gusts around 25mph today with mostly sunny skies. The area of high pressure should move overhead tonight which will calm down our winds for tomorrow. Regardless, our temperatures should stay in the mid 40s for tomorrow.
Over the past weekend, the strong winds that we had created some incredible surf for the Outer Banks:
Cape Hatteras Lighthouse by the Jetty. Today waves are much smaller, 1-3ft and it looks like it will stay that way for a few more days ahead.
We might see some more surf/wind coming up on Saturday from an approaching storm system that might bring us over an inch of rain, but until then. Enjoy the Sunshine!

Jeff,
Thanks for keeping us up to date, the surf forecast/info/pictures are just icing on the cake and combing my two loves surf and weather. Thanks again and keep up the good work.
No problem Chris, same thing for me too. Remember, this spring and summer I’ll be giving more frequent surf forecasts on the blogs and on air during the weekend morning shows.
