LMF: A New Wednesday

October 3rd, 2012 at 10:53 am by under THRS Live Music

In the mainstream, new music is released on Tuesdays because figures for the previous weeks sales are released on Mondays, so I’m going to dedicate Wednesdays as the day to go over some new releases.

If you remember when Holly Would… was on the show they mentioned that they were about to head to New York to record their debut album under One Day Savior Recordings.  Well, it’s all done and polished.  If Word Got Out will hit the world October 18th and their debut single, Ida, hit the digital streets yesterday.  They will having a record release show Sunday, October 28 at Shaka’s in Virginia Beach with Audiostobelight, Rekapse, On The Bright Side, Brother Speak, Shinigami and The Future Of Our Nation.  Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.  Check out their brand new single, Ida:

Broken Mouth Annie just released their highly anticipated record, The Frustration King.  Their single, Fixing To Fit, has been getting some great airplay on Paul Shugrue’s Out Of The Box and The Local Music Show on 96X.  The album is available on your favorite digital outlet, so I greatly recommend you download it now.  Here is BMA performing On The Road and Life In Pantimime on Live Music Friday.

That’s all for me today.  I’ll catch up with you tomorrow with a preview of Live Music Friday.  See you then and, as always, SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL MUSIC
