Today’s blog title is in honor of the 50th anniversary of The Glimmer Twins and the boys. My two favorite Stones’ albums are 22 years apart: Exile On Main St. and Voodoo Lounge. Say what you will about Voodoo but that record simply rocks. Do a favor and listen to both of those recordings back-to-back and you’ll agree with me. Happy Anniversary!
Now onto the local scene. The video everybody has been eagerly anticipating made it’s world premier yesterday. With no fan fair of any kind, The Last Bison sneakily released the video for Switzerland on YouTube and it quickly spread like wildfire. If you haven’t seen it yet, no worries, it’s right here for you viewing pleasure.
Another band will be debuting a new video very soon. I’ve heard through the musical grapevine that The Aragona Project will be releasing their video for “In The Dark” this week. Be sure to check back here as I’ll post it as soon as it’s released and I’ll take you behind the scenes through the making of the video.
I can’t believe it’s August already. The summer is flying by and we have some awesome music lined up for the coming weeks. I’ll leave you today with a look at the Live Music Friday calendar. Have a great day and I’ll catch up with you later this week.
