It was a cooler morning for many with lows in the upper 60s to lower 70s. We are still going to see a warm day today with highs near 90 this afternoon, but it should not feel as humid.

This pattern that we are in includes a stationary front stretching across Hampton Roads. This front could help to create a few popup storms this afternoon in areas on the Outer Banks and also N. Carolina. It doesn’t look like any of these storms will be severe though with the lack of wind shear we have in the atmosphere. Tomorrow looks like it should be similar to today with highs in the upper 80s and partly cloudy skies.
