Who doesn’t love a good battle..especially a battle of the bands.  This one is to battle for the coveted spot to open up for Buckcherry at The NorVa Saturday, August 18. Buckcherry’s management team asked The NorVa to put an all out call to local bands to see if they wanted to open for the group.  Countless submissions flooded NorVa’s local booking agent Chris Bates’ inbox who then forward them onto Buckcherry.  The group picked the Top 6 and they will battle it out at The NorVa Saturday, July 28.  The Top 2 bands will open for the LA-based rock band and the best part is that the winners will be determined from YOUR vote!  That’s right, the audience will pick to two most rockin’ and worthy bands.

The bands that will duke it out are: 180 Out, Dirty Rock, Gypside, One Among Us, Pillbuster and Seven Ten Oil.  Advanced tickets are just $10 and are available at The NorVa box office or by contacting the bands themselves.  Click on the bands name to find out how you can get tickets from them.  I’ll be there to give you an all-access look at the sights and sounds of the show, an in-depth look at each band as well as a feature post on the two winning bands.  You don’t want to miss this show.
