Nope, I’m not talking about Bon Jovi’s first single off of their New Jersey record…although that is a pretty rocking tune.  I’m going to talk about a different band: A Bad Think.

A Bad Think is the brainchild of Virginia Beach producer Michael Marquart.  After gaining fame as the drummer of A Flock Of Seagulls, Michael stepped from behind the kit and created A Bad Think to showcase his many talents. Guitarist Ralph Bruner and Michael’s singer/songwriter daughter, Samantha, join the eclectic musical journey that A Bad Think takes you on.  With three records already under their belt, they have just released a fourth.  Medicine is available on iTunes and it’s first single, ‘Under The Stairs’, has an accompanying video that is directed by Virginia Beach director Derrick Borte, who directed The Joneses (staring David Duchovny and Demi Moore), and stars Mariel Hemingway.  You can check out the video here.

Tomorrow is Friday and better yet, Live Music Friday.  Our guests will be the acoustic duo of Cassidy and Tess.  They opened for Bison at their sold-out show at The Attucks Theater and they’ll be bringing their talents to The Hampton Roads Show stage.
