Hold On to Those Hats!
The wind is going to stay strong for the remainder of the afternoon thanks to an area of low and high pressure in our vicinity.
Some areas have already had gusts up to 30mph earlier today, and its likely we will see gusts around that speed later today.
The area of low pressure offshore will keep the circulation strong going into tomorrow with winds still at 10-15 mph tomorrow from the Northeast. With an approaching area of high pressure that should help to shut down the wind speeds going into the weekend and also keep the forecast looking dry for Fathers Day on Sunday. Right now this weekend our highs should be in the upper 70s.
