LMF: Portsmouth Seawall Music Festival
This weekend, Virginia Beach will be jamming with Shaggfest; Norfolk will be sailing with Harborfest and special guest OpSail 2012 and across the Elizabeth, Portsmouth will be chillin’ with the Seawall Music Festival. If you don’t feel like battling the crowds in Norfolk, hop on the ferry and head over to P-Town. This year, the Seawall Festival will be conjunction with OpSail, so they’ll be a good selection of tall ships docked here but I’m here to talk about the tunes.
There will be three stages setup for Seawall. The main stage will be setup at North Landing (If your taking the ferry over from Norfolk, North Landing is the second stop, next to the Renaissance Hotel), another stage will be on the Naval Hospital grounds (yes, it will be open to the public) and the third will be at the High Street Landing (this is the first stop if you’re riding the ferry).

Tomorrow is , of course, Live Music Friday and our guest will be Skye Zentz. Skye has a new album coming out called ‘Bird Heart”. It will hit June 21 but you’ll get to hear tunes from it when she performs tomorrow on the show. She’s also among the many acts performing for Harborfest. You can see her Monday at 1:30pm at the Front Street stage at Fort Norfolk.
Hope everyone will be catching a show this weekend. Plenty to choose from so no excuses for missing them. Rock On!
