Day 3 (it’s flying-and I don’t want it to end!)

I went out with Jason and Greg again but spent a little time at the news desk watching everyone work. I also got to watch all the research that Jason does  BEFORE he even suggests a story for the 3:00 pm meeting.  We went out and covered a story about a Cold Case which was very sad but interesting.

Jason explained how he makes packages for the news and how he writes around the sound bites. He was really willing to answer any questions I really appreciated it! I feel so blessed to  have this experience and to gain such a great amount of knowledge.

Shadowing Jason has been so much fun, from watching him get excited about news leads, to getting excited about baseball scores.. it’s always entertaining.
