Back to the grind of Monday.  I was so swamped with work on Friday that I didn’t have time to do my usually Live Music Friday wrap-up.  My apologies to you.  Our LMF guest last week was the eclectic sweet water sounds of Broken Mouth Annie.  I described them in my last post as an everything bagel, not sure what you’re going to get in each bite but you know it’s going to be good.  Anson Morris (vocals, guitar), Victoria Hundley (vocals, percussion), Matt Howland (guitar), Chris Samulski (violin), Matt Scruggs (drums, vocals) and Steve Jones (bass) make up this group.  They’re currently in the studio recording some tracks that they hope to release by the fall.  I’ll keep you posted on when that will be out.   Check out their photo gallery from the show right here.

I’m going to keep it short today but don’t fret, I’m working on two posts covering two big events this weekend: Shaggfest and Harborfest/OpSail 2012.  If you haven’t had the opportunity to catch a live performance from the vast pool of local talent, this is the weekend to do it.   Look for my Shaggfest preview tomorrow and my Harborfest/OpSail 2012 preview Wednesday.
