Warmer Temperatures Coming, Big Storms out West Tomorrow.

Its already turning out to be a nice and warm afternoon. Mostly sunny skies with an area of high pressure will keep our conditions clear for the rest of the day. Tomorrow we will start to turn the page and warm up quickly in the afternoon.

Warmer Tomorrow

Once we start to get that flow out of the southwest our temperatures will easily warm up into the 70s across Hampton Roads. But, once again…it will be windy with a breeze at 10-15mph. We should have plenty of sunshine tomorrow and likely on Sunday which will be even warmer.

This big warmup is also part of a larger storm system in the Midwest which is going to bring a high risk of Severe Weather for tomorrow.

Severe Risk: Saturday

This is only the second time ever that a “High” risk has been issued for the next day. In a typical year around 5 high risks will be issued for the day of, but maybe 1-2 times a decade a high risk for the next day.

We are going to steer clear of this potential tornado outbreak, but if you have friends and or family, it would be good to check in with them today to make sure they are aware of the forecast for tomorrow.

On Sunday we should also have a dry day with highs near 80. We won’t see any rainfall until Wednesday.
