This sunshine was nice today but there was a chill in the air. Temperatures over the next week are not really going to warm up or cool down significantly, but rain will become a bigger possibility on Saturday night and even Sunday. Right now there is a large storm system out too our west giving areas near Denver nearly 2 feet of snow. As this storm moves towards Hampton Roads this weekend we might even get some rainfall on Saturday evening along the warm front.

Temperatures will remain in the 40s to 50s with this storm system. Some of our computer models are hinting at nearly an inch of rain is expected from this event by Monday morning. One computer model, the North American Model (NAM), even put in a wintry mix on Monday early in the morning, but right now its not looking like a real threat…Maybe the Groundhog was hinting at something.
