It Couldn’t Last
Temperatures were very warm today. Highs were in the mid 80s generally. It felt just like Summer. We didn’t break a record at Norfolk International. The record was 91 degrees set back in 2007 and earlier in 1939. Tomorrow we start the cool down. Temps will rise up to the upper 70s and then drop in the afternoon. Highs over the next few days will be much cooler. We will see some highs in the lower 60s on Wednesday. (possible upper 50s) It is possible that we could have our first inland frost this mid week. The metro should be fine, but inland it will get rather chilly. We’ll have a better sense of that after the weekend. Stay tuned!
