Sometimes clouds will come and go through the day.  Today is a good example.  At times it will be partly cloudy.  Other times mostly sunny.  A few moments…mostly cloudy.  So a good way to term the forecast is a mix of sun and clouds.  An area of low pressure lies well to our south over South Carolina.  It will pump in some clouds today with a slight chance for a shower over North Carolina.  Otherwise weak high pressure should produce a fair amount of sunshine.  We’ll watch the low to see what it does over the next couple of days.  It could drift out over the ocean and become tropical.  It’s an outside chance, but it’s possible.  We should see typical Summer time weather here for the next few days.  Also, please see the previous post as there are some really neat photos from Friday’s storms.
