Memorial Day Weather

Yesterday we had a couple of downpours.  One especially over south central Chesapeake.  After looking at the radar, it was hard to think that mother nature wasn’t picking on you.  The rest of the area was a lot more hit-or-miss.  Today we’ll see more scattered showers with about 40% coverage.  Lots of humidity in place.  We’ll see a bunch of clouds, so instability shouldn’t be too bad.  A few thunderstorms are possible, but the bulk of activity will be showers.  Temperatures will be in the lower 80s.  The next few days will see scattered rain showers with thunderstorms.  We’re up 1.75″ above average for the month.  Still down 2.34″ for the year.  But it’s definitely been wet lately.   I’m gonna keep this short so I can feel like I’m on vacation.  Have a safe holiday.
