Memorial Day Weekend
We looked back at the last couple of Memorial Day weekends. They haven’t been too bad. Last year we had cool weather for a couple of days with a warm Memorial Day. The year before was hot with highs in the 90s. This weekend should be pretty good. We do have a fly in the ointment though. A cold front is expected to move close to us late Sunday into Monday. It will bring a few showers and storms to areas north of the metro. If it moves closer, then we could see some storms IN the metro on Monday. It’s a little early to tell though. The whole weekend will see highs in the low-mid 80s. It should be nice. Check out the short term forecast on this site. Don’t forget we also have radar and lightning on the site as well. Have a good weekend and be safe! Don’t drink and drive, wear a life preserver or seat belt, and don’t forget why we have the holiday in the first place.

Not sure where you got isolated showers on Sunday from, but Chesapeake is getting pounded with severe rain. Great job predicting this one.
Actually, he did get it right. Isolated showers did hit, but they happened to hit in Chesapeake and not too badly throughout the rest of the area (the northern Peninsula notwithstanding).
