Not So Cheery!

I don’t know what it is about today.  Lot’s of people I’ve talked to are in a bad mood or having a bad day.  Nothing extreme, but just a little down.  I think it’s the weather.  We had this nice string of days with highs in the 70s and 80s between last weekend and yesterday.  Today the temperature has been stuck at about 45 degrees.  I know some people love this weather.  Cool, cloudy, slight breeze… But I think a lot of people got a taste of Spring and wanted more.  I may be in that boat.  But enough about cloudy skies.  Let’s talk about the future (which coincidentally includes cloudy skies).  Tonight the moisture will pick up.  We already have had a few sprinkles on radar around the region.  This should turn into scattered showers overnight.  We’ll have a rain/snow mix north of the Metro early tomorrow morning.  We’ll probably see it mostly on the Northern Neck, but maybe a little on the Middle Peninsula as well.  We could get a little up into Accomack county too, but mostly towards Chincoteague.  No accumulations are expected.  There may be some snow north of Richmond, however we’ll see a cold rain here in the metro with a few sleet pellets possibly mixing in.  Highs tomorrow will be tough to break 40 with more rain on the way.  In fact…we could get a couple of inches of rain over the next several days.  Seattle type weather could continue for Hampton Roads through midweek next week.  Cheers!
