Comet Lulin Visible For A Few More Days

It’s not a celestial extravaganza, but there is a comet dimly visible in the east-southeastern sky for about the next week. You’ll definitely need a pair of binoculars or a small telescope. And it is best to view the comet from somewhere away from city lights.

Sky and Telescope magazine is always an excellent source of reliable information on the night sky.

Skies should be clear on Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Also, Thursday night into Friday morning looks mostly clear. Friday night through Sunday night…not so good for viewing the night skies.

Enjoy!
