Northeast Snow and Happy Holidays
The Northeast will get another wallop of cold and snow today. some states are expecting a foot of snow like upstate New York. This comes after thousands are still without power from the recent ice/snow storm that they had. If you are travelling north today from Hampton Roads be aware of wintry weather starting around the D.C. area. Locally we will feel some some cold arctic air move in. Today is the first day of Winter after all. So tonight’s lows will be in the 20s. Tomorrow’s highs will only be in the mid-upper 30s. Lows on Tuesday morning could be in the teens in some rural cities. It will be cold but dry tonight for the first night of Hannukah. Then we’ll warm up for Christmas Eve and Christmas, but we’ll also have some rain move in. No white Christmas this year for our area. A chance for showers on Boxer day.
I will be off for a few days. I’m going to enjoy some relaxation at home with my family. So I won’t blog again until after Christmas. Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, and Joyous Kwanzaa to everybody.
