ICHI Bowlathon

Last Weekend I did the ICHI (I Can’t Help It) Bowlathon.  This is a group that helps people with intellectual and physical disabilities.  The bowlathon was created to try to help them integrate with people in the general community.  The most interesting thing that I witnessed were the handicapped folks that were in wheelchairs.  They used ramps to aim the ball and hit the pins. I’ve never seen that before.  What a creative/smart thing to do.  I had a fun time and bowled a 104.  One of the ladies in the photo beat me with a 143.  There were some awesome bowlers there.  I had some nice conversations and got to meet a lot of great people.
