Warwick Boulevard Project

Starting last night (October 14) all the way until Wednesday, October 22, look for lane closures in both directions along Warwick Boulevard (Route 60) near the J. Clyde Morris Boulevard intersection.  Construction crews working with the Virginia Department of Transportation are installing pipe across Warwick Boulevard between Sweetbriar Drive and Wellesday Drive.  Look for the closures from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.  While crews work on Warwick Boulevard west, all traffic will be shifted to Warwick Boulevard east, with one lane open in each direction overnight.  Traffic will then shift to Warwick Boulevard west for crews to complete the installation.  Look for officers directing traffic during this time.

One more thing.  Beginning Monday, October 13 through Friday, October 17, drivers should expect delays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Warwick Boulevard from Sweetbriar Drive to Minton Drive.  Traffic will be stopped for up to 5 minutes at a time for traffic signal poll installation.
